We didn’t learn much about the Bucs on Sunday, but the Eagles told us a whole lot. Jalen Hurts? Not great. Even worse: The defense.

Static is death for a modern defense. It’s tough to stop any offense these days. But a defenses only shot is to be constantly changing the picture the pre- to post-snap picture.

Someone didn’t send Jonathan Gannon and the Eagles the memo.

Of the Eagles first 15 defensive snaps against the Bucs, they rotated, moved or changed the pre- to post-snap picture only three times (20%). To do that against Tom Bleeping Brady is unfathomable (without fathom!). Brady was able to jump into the no-huddle to play pitch-and-catch football:
