Can you believe that it’s already Week 10?

The season is steaming along. And it has been such a joy to be able to bring The Read Optional to you, unfiltered. Writing about the league and the sport in this way — a little nerdy, hopefully fun — is thanks solely to you, the subscribers.

I have been blown away by the support for the newsletter and podcast. Honestly, I never thought such a newsletter would find such success so early in its existence. This week, thanks to the support of subscribers, Substack named The Read Optional as a featured publication — which may not sound like a big deal, but that will have a big impact on the long-term sustainability and viability of this thing.
